NETWORK MARKETING 101:
Master the BASICS and the $ will follow! Network Marketing is one of the most SIMPLE businesses and most INEXPENSIVE businesses you could ever start. Here’s the catch…it WILL take some work ethic and you WILL have to MASTER the BASICS!
1.YOU MUST HAVE CONTACTS!
In ANY BUSINESS you decide to start, from a Bakery to a Hair salon to a Car wash or a cute Boutique etc…you will always need a contact list. No contacts…no customers…no sales…no money…PERIOD! In Network Marketing, if you have no contacts you have no business. You can’t build a team with no team members and you can’t build a residual income with no customers or sales. So…if your answer to your sponsor/upline is always “I just don’t know anyone…I just don’t like to talk to people, I’m shy…I just moved here etc…etc…etc…” You are going to have to CHANGE! Change is GOOD! Change may be the key to your business exploding! Always remember, NO CONTACTS…NO TEAM…NO BUSINESS…NO CHECK!
2.MUST CONTACT YOUR CONTACTS.
In the world of Network Marketing, we call this “Piquing Interest”. This is obvious! If you don’t contact your contacts they will never know what you have to offer. Contacting your contacts does not mean DRAGGING, HARASSING AND TRYING TO CONVINCE THEM that they want to work with you. It simply means letting them know what you are doing and giving them an invitation to take a look at your opportunity. If they are not interested…they simply are NOT INTERESTED…WHO CARES…not EVERYONE is going to be interested in your business! Some people LOVE their jobs, don’t want to be a business owner, are not interested in making any extra money, and simply don’t want to work with you and your business. Move on! “Some Will…Some Wont…So What…NEXT! All that we ask as your upline support team in your business is that you atleast CONTACT your contacts to let them know what you are doing and to GIVE THEM THE OPPORTUNITY to make THEIR OWN DECISION on if they are interested in a lucrative opportunity at this time. I firmly believe that EVERYONE deserves the right to make their own decision on whether they want to take a look at a great opportunity or not…Don’t you???
3. PUT THE INTERESTED CONTACTS IN FRONT OF THE INFORMATION/PRESENTATION.
If your contact is interested immeditately put them in front of a presentation! Take that person off of you and let them see the opportunity thru the eyes of someone else. Sometimes this is all they need to make a good decision about working with you and your team. Remember…your friends and family LOVE YOU, but that does not always mean they respect your business sense. Use someone else to help you explain your business opportunity to people who you know personally. That could be thru a conference call, a webinar, a video presentation, an in-home presentation at someone’s home, a local event at a hotel or business office, or a simple presentation at your local coffee shop with you, your contact/prospect and your upline/sponsor. JUST PUT THEM IN FRONT OF SOMETHING OR SOMEONE ASAP!
4. YOU MUST FOLLOW UP/CLOSE OUT YOUR CONTACTS.
This is huge! I know sooooo many people who have mastered the art of “Prospecting/Piquing Interest/Contacting their prospects”, but are HORRIBLE with their follow up. If you don’t FOLLOW UP you are simply getting your prospect/contact alllll buttered up for someone like ME to come in and slide them into my team in my network marketing business. So…DONT DO ALL THE WORK and let ME TAKE ALL THE CREDIT! Make sure you are following up with your prospects and closing them out!
5. PLUG INTO A GREAT TRAINING SYSTEM.
Make sure that the team you decide to work with has an AWESOME training system so you can learn from the best of the best in this industry. There are some amazing leaders in this industry, you just have to make sure you are connected with the right ones. This is YOUR BUSINESS…this is YOUR FUTURE…make sure you have all the help and support you can possibly utilize to turn your part time income with your business into a full time one. Now remember…if a team is providing you with a great training system, you have to be willing to USE IT! Stop trying to re-invent the wheel…if it has made that team millions maybe it’s time to just “shut up and listen…learn”!
6. DUPLICATE/TEACH YOUR TEAM TO MASTER THE BASICS!
No matter what anyone tells you to get you to “sign up” with their company…If YOU are not willing to work at mastering these things…your check will ALWAYS reflect that. But you can’t just master the basics, you have to be willing to teach others what you know so they can learn to master the basics as well. This is a TEAM EFFORT and if your TEAM doesn’t have a system to follow and doesn’t know what the basics are to learn…your check surely will reflect that! Concentrate on helping your TEAM get what they want out of this industry and their business and you will always get what you want!
Remember…if you treat your business like a MILLION DOLLAR BUSINESS…it will pay you like one!
